William Acheampong

William Acheampong is a results-driven Compliance, Audit, and Finance Professional with over fourteen (14) years of experience in financial management, internal controls, risk management, compliance, and corporate governance across diverse and regulated industries.

He possesses strong expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, resource optimization, problem-solving, and organizational management. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered cost management initiatives, strengthened internal control systems, enhanced regulatory compliance, and promoted sound corporate governance practices, contributing significantly to organizational growth and sustainability.

Currently, William serves as the Resource Optimization Manager at GoldCoast Food Herbs and Spices Limited. In this role, he is responsible for optimizing the company's financial resources, budgets, and fixed assets; ensuring efficient cash and financial management in line with international best practices and industry standards; maintaining accurate financial records and reporting systems; and ensuring full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements relating to financial management and reporting.

William is a Full Member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), having demonstrated a strong commitment to professional excellence and ethical standards. He also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting and Finance from University of Professional Studies, Accra.

Prior to his current position, William built extensive experience across the banking, consulting, and corporate sectors. His previous roles include Project Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers Ghana, Finance and Administrative Manager at Prospectus Ghana Limited, and Personal Banker at Consolidated Bank Ghana and the erstwhile Heritage Bank Limited.
